Description
Our client is seeking candidates with four to five years of experience advising public companies on securities compliance, financial reporting, and other ’34 Act compliance matters, as well as corporate governance. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in securities law compliance, disclosure, and corporate governance, and will work closely with the Public Companies & Governance team to assist with day-to-day securities law counseling and significant governance transactions, such as executive succession, corporate crises, shareholder proposals, and shareholder activism. Experience with general corporate matters, including securities offerings and/or mergers and acquisitions, and some prior in-house experience is valued. Strong academic credentials, communication skills, responsiveness, and a demonstrated interest in public company compliance and corporate governance are essential.
