Description
We are conducting a search for a Legal AI Engineer/Solutions Architect for a Global 200 law firm making significant investments in legal technology and AI innovation.
Inside the Opportunity
- Overview: Design, build, and deploy AI solutions that transform legal workflows— custom LLM integrations, unstructured data processing, and workflow automation. Serve as technical advisor directly to clients, managing deployments and customizations while building lasting relationships.
- Compensation: $100K–$200K base + benefits, bonuses | Hybrid (3 days on-site) preferred for New York, NY or Atlanta, GA; fully remote possible for the right fit.
What Makes This Different
This role requires experience across three distinct areas:
Legal Domain Expertise
- JD degree strongly preferred; 5+ years in legal industry (law firm, ALSP, legal tech, in-house)
- Deep understanding of legal terminology and processes
- Ideally, prior AI engineering experience specifically in the legal sector
Technical Foundation
- Hands-on experience with Large Language Models, prompt engineering, and API integrations
- Working knowledge of vector databases and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures with experience implementing
- Proficiency in automation, scripting, and workflow design
- Experience with Microsoft ecosystem (O365, Copilot Studio, Power Apps, AI agents)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required
Client-Facing Excellence
- Exceptional communication skills; translating complex technical concepts into clear business value
- Comfortable functioning as a technical salesperson—building relationships, delivering demos, driving adoption
- Ability to sit confidently with diverse stakeholders, including lawyers and engineers, to ensure alignment and support for AI solutions
