PATENTS ASSOCIATE (1658)
Description
Our client, an internationally recognized law firm, is seeking a highly qualified Associate to join its Patents practice group in New York. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of patent law experience, including Patent Agent experience, and hold a bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Sciences, or Physics. A Master’s degree or Ph.D. in a similar field is a plus. Candidates must have a valid USPTO Registration number, be adept at managing a busy patent prosecution docket, and possess excellent academic and professional credentials, along with strong writing and analytical skills. Experience with patent litigation and Patent Trial and Appeal Board proceedings, as well as Mandarin language skills, are preferred. Membership in the New York Bar is required.
