INTERNATIONAL TRADE ASSOCIATE (1677)

Description

Our client is seeking an associate with experience in international trade and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have expertise in handling economic sanctions and export controls for multinational companies, representing clients before agencies such as DOJ, BIS, OFAC, CBP, and USITC, and managing multi-jurisdiction compliance and litigation planning. Responsibilities include providing counsel on regulatory trade compliance, sanctions, white-collar defenses, and government investigations, as well as preparing legal documentation for international trade matters. A Juris Doctor degree and a license to practice law in D.C. are required. The position is based in Washington, D.C., with telecommuting options within the D.C. metropolitan area.
