CYBERSECURITY SENIOR ASSOCIATE (1015)
Description
Our client, a leading defense litigation law firm, is seeking experienced lawyers with a strong background in cyber security to join their team in a leadership role. This fully remote position involves rapid response to data breaches and other significant cyber incidents. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of legal experience, with a minimum of 2 years focused on data privacy and security, particularly in data breach and incident response. A strong understanding of data breach and privacy laws (HIPAA, GLBA, FERPA, CCPA, GDPR, etc.) is essential, and an IT or technical background is a plus. Responsibilities include incident response for cybersecurity and data privacy incidents, leading response to clients and carriers, overseeing breach response work, analyzing privacy laws, drafting legal notices of data breaches, responding to regulatory investigations, defending privacy lawsuits, and drafting privacy and security policies and procedures.
